Club Med Lindeman is on the island of the same name in the tropical Whitsunday group of Great Barrier Reef islands. The resort is just 30 mins by launch from the international airport on nearby Hamilton Island off the central Queensland coast of Australia. Here you will discover Australia's only Club Med resort resort set amidst more than 690 hectares of World Heritage National Parkland.

It's the ideal hideaway for those who just enjoy being themselves, the perfect place for the active sports and a wonderful resort for the whole family. An ideal destination for nature lovers, Lindeman Island offers a unique setting that will allow you to discover the local flora and fauna and exotic birds.

All 218 rooms are tropically furnished in a decor reflecting the relaxed island lifestyle. Locations provide for the type of holiday you are looking for, with a choice of beachfront, poolside or lush gardens, many offering magnificent terrace views of the Whitsunday Passage. Many have connecting rooms for families with children.

Dining
With Club Med all-inclusive packages, you have the choice of 3 meals a day with a free flow of drinks, wine and beer. It's pure indulgence for your palate! Club Med restaurants provide a smorgasbord of international dishes to make every meal a pleasant past time. Enjoy the breathtaking view from Nicholson's, their premier a al carte restaurant situated clifftop overlooking the Whitsunday Passage. Please note general room service is not available.

Their kids' clubs cater for 2 to 17 year olds and their Club Med Baby Welcome package provides everything for your baby's comfort. Their "New Concept" Pyjamas Club provides evening care for 2 to 8 year olds but must be pre-booked. Connecting rooms can be pre-booked for families with children.

Getting There
Daily services operate from mainland Australian cities to airports at both Hamilton Island and Proserpine on the mainland. The Club Med launch transfer from Hamilton Island to Lindeman Island takes 30 mins. From Proserpine, a 30 mins coach or limousine trip connects with regular Shute Harbour launch transfers to the island taking 60 mins. Scenic seaplane or heli transfers directly from the airports to the resort can also be arranged.
