Great location--we were close enough to subway stations so we got a Sydney Pass and toured around on the subway and the ferries to lots of places. The Marlin Beach in Palm Cove was great. Helen the manager was very welcoming, the apartment was very clean, location great. It was nice to not be right in Cairns, yet close enough that we took the public bus into Cairns to shop one day. The flight home was long. I highly recommend that people check to see where their seats are located. We were right beside the bathrooms--consequently we did not get any sleep! • "Hi Zoe, Once again we had a fantastic time at Daydream Island. Flying direct to Hamilton Island, instead of via Proserpine as we did last time, made the trip even more enjoyable. Having never flown Jetstar prior to this trip, I would like to say how impressed I was with their service and the standard of their planes... Despite all the chaos and earlier flooded runways, our flight took off at the appointed time, and everything ran smoothly, we could not have asked for anything better.

The weather at Daydream was perfect, we snorkelled and swam everyday, and even went scuba diving twice. We can't wait to go back to Daydream again as for us, it is the perfect holiday, allowing us to return home completely relaxed and refreshed. Thanks also for using Sunlover tours to book holidays - both our ferry and airport transfers were made much easier due to the standard of Sunlover paperwork as commented on by staff who worked at both the airport and the ferry service. • "Tina, We just returned to Cairo this past weekend. We had a wonderful R&R and lots of memories that we will cherish. Thank you for all the arrangements that you made for us. We were very impressed with your ability in understanding exactly what we were looking for from the "Trip Objectives" that we provided you; prepared the itinerary, made the arrangements and turned them into realities for us to experience. All... met all the objectives that we provided and most of them exceeded our expectations. We experienced everything and events that were listed in our "Trip Objectives". You had taken care of all the details; for example:

(1) we mentioned to you that we preferred non-smoking room at upper floors for our hotel accommodations and we were offered the same. The Brampton Island Resort even provided us with an up-graded room without extra charges. The car rental company upgraded the vehicle for us also; and (2) the excess baggage arrangements for the helicopter ride.

We really enjoyed our stay in Sydney and wished that we could have stayed there for a couple more days. There were so many activities that we wanted to experience within the limited amount of time. We feel that the Sydney harbour is one of the prettiest in the world if not the most beautiful one. (The Hong Kong harbour used to be as beautiful but the decline in the ferries traffic in the harbour as most vehicles now use the tunnels had transformed it to be less vibrant and exciting). You were correct that the Darling Harbour is the place to be. It was full of activities and excitements, especially at night time.

The See Sydney and Beyond Pass plus transportation are the way to go and we recommend that "DON'T GO TO SYDNEY WITHOUT IT". The passes provided us both the value and convenience. Our stay at the Aquila Retreat was another unforgettable experience. The place was fantastic and the owners offered us their personal service. It was just like staying at our friend's house. When we left the Retreat, we felt that we were saying good-bye to our friends. By the way, the breakfasts were outstanding in both the presentation and nutrient. The helicopter ride was the first for my wife. She enjoyed it very much.

The stay at the Brampton Island Resort was very relaxing. In fact, I felt guilty that we were not doing any constructive work after a couple of days on the beach... we fully enjoy our trip to Australia. It was a wonderful experience and we would like to re-visit Sydney and travel south to Melbourne and the areas in Victoria the next time. As my wife commented, we would consider immigrating to Australia if we were 10 to 15 years younger.

The childrens eat free vouchers meant it was more economical to eat out every night. I was disappointed that we could not swim in the ocean because of the stingers, but the pools were very nice. • "Dear Gayle, Despite the fact that the weather was lousy (mini cyclone stuff meant we couldn’t stop at the Whitsundays) the trip was great. We appreciate all your arrangements which were excellent. Our Pacific Sky cabin allocation was terrific, with adjoining cabins for our kids and us, and we enjoyed the birthday cake that you kindly requested for our daughter on her birthday.

In terms of feedback, I would advise fellow travelers to enquire about prices for the tours which are offered from the ship before they leave so they can factor these costs into their budget. For example, the Great Barrier Reef excursion was $195 per person and for a family of 5 this makes a significant dent in the holiday budget especially as this particularly excursion was one of the reasons we went on this trip.

Other shore excursions were similarly (in my view) expensive when catering for a family and we could have easily spent $3,000 alone in shore excursions if we had elected to take an excursion at the 3 stops. On a positive note, I felt the ships meal and drink costs not covered by the ship were reasonably priced so that in between drinks and snacks didn’t get out of hand. We did have a good time at Couran Cove. We really liked how the resort was set-up and the different activities and facilities that were available. Loved the 2 bedroom lagoon suites, very modern and well positioned. Thought that the resort train could have run a little more regularly, especially being a school holiday period. We were very disappointed with one aspect of the resort, and that was the disappointing service we received. Not all the time... Cairns International Resort was the perfect pick for the pre- cruise Hotel, the check in for Captain Cooks Cruise was only steps away, and Trinity wharf right across the street! The cruise was fun, but the weather was not. The seas were bad and my husband was sick the whole trip. I did however love the service and food! One observation I did want to note: The Reef Endeavour ship is in dire need of service. The paint is corroding both inside and out, and all wood flooring (deck) needs re-finishing. • "Hello Sali, First and foremost, thank you very much for all your help. Wilson Island, which was the aim of the trip, was brilliant even though the weather and tides could have been a little kinder to us. (There's a challenge for you.....) Woke up one morning thinking I was being stung on the face by something and when the head cleared a little more, realised the turtle covering its nest right at the front of the tent was spraying sand over me! What more can you ask for!

Heron Island, on the other hand, needs to work harder. Good suite on the way out, distinctly lesser accommodation on the way back. Their kitchen needs serious attention, which was all the more disappointing because everyone we knew who had been over the past 5/6 years said the food was good.

Their luggage handling could be improved - sending ours by sea when we were on the chopper caused some anxiety although, in fairness, they all worked very hard to get it back on track once the error was discovered. • "Hello, My wife and I stayed on Brampton Island with a couple of Aussie friends of ours, and we can honestly say that for the whole week we stayed we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We arrived by private jet, and within an hour we were swimming in the 'warm' sea. We enjoyed many activities during our stay, including tennis, beach volleyball, swimming and... Sumo wrestling!! We also managed to video half a dozen black tipped reef sharks swimming beside our feet. We had a great room, and even though we spent very little time in the hotel the service was excellent - definitely worth the money. Food, sights, people....all was top class. Our only criticism was that there seemed to be no regular trips to the outer reef organised by the resort – on a couple of days it was too windy, but we had assumed that there would be plenty of opportunities to do something other than snorkel around the island (after all, we were there to see the reef). • "Dear Sally, We have had the BEST vacation in Australia and the highlight was our 9 nights stay at Dunk Island! I wish we could have stayed longer...we were so sad to leave this wonderful resort. As you know I am a world traveler and have stayed in many upscale resorts around the world and I must say that Dunk Island was by far the best one.

The rooms were very modern equipped with all the amenities. The view was breath taking and the atmosphere in the resort was very peaceful, no wonder they call it the "Island of peace and plenty". There were so many daily activities to choose from for all ages and that was very important. We enjoyed the day trip to the reef very much and were also very lucky with the weather.

I would highly recommend this resort for families and couples who are traveling to this destination. You really feel that you are in paradise, surrounded by the rain forest and remote beaches. The staff and guest services provided were also very good, every one was very friendly and accommodating.

Our flights with Virgin Blue and Mac air were smooth and no time and we did not experience any problems with over weight.
