Hi Lynette, Thank you for organizing our holiday to the
Sofitel Gold Coast as well as
Turtle Beach Resort. We all had a fantastic time. Everything ran smoothly and we found the people (receptionists at resorts and drivers) were more than helpful.I've included a picture of my children enjoying an early evening stoll on one of the Gold Coast's beautiful beaches. Once again thank you and next time we want to organize a holiday no doubt we will use your service again." Lorrae B., Warrnambool, Australia (23 Jan 06)

Dear Kylie, We had a fantastic holiday at
Brampton Island. The room was more than superb, it was fantastic and easily the best unit in the resort, looking right out onto the ocean beach and within 50 metres of dining and the seaside pool and the water sports activities. The meals were great, a little overpowering at times and there was simply heaps to do.
We had a simply fantastic time. The weather was simply a treat , the sun shone most of the time and in total it was just a stunning retreat and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you very much for all your attention to detail.
The plane connections were good although the connecting helicopter flight to Brampton from Mackay was not good as they informed us that we should have confirmed the helicopter flight that morning. Consequently we had to wait at the airport until the later helicopter flight was available( 1pm flight). However this was only a small, very small niggle and we soon forgot about it.
I thank you greatly for your help and for the great holiday we had." John and Elizabeth B., Sydney, Australia (22 Jan 06)

Hi Zoe, we had a wonderful holiday! We loved
the Quest Margaret River, the Duxton and Bunker Bay ! (despite the flies).
Our only disappointment was
Abbey Beach Resort. I have since checked out all their advertising material and nowhere does it hint that some rooms overlook a caravan park. Disappointing since on our itinery it said ocean view requested (and they didn't mention to you or us it was not POSSIBLE to have an ocean view with a one bedroom apartment.)
When they moved us finally to a pool room we got the room in the farthest corner and at no time did they attempt to find out if we were ok. We would want others to know how we were treated and how disappointing it was for us. But the rest was truly outstanding, thank you for all your help!" Hi Sali, We had a fantastic time! The boat trip to
Hayman Island was a dream come true. Such a great start to a holiday.
The rooms unfortunately were quite dirty ie. dust and cobwelbs everywhere and chocolate wrappers under the beds, left from previous guests (not what you would expect from a five star resort). The room size and facilities however were excellent.
Simon sent a brand new $200 shirt to the laundry. They obviously didn't follow the washing instructions and put the shirt in a dryer, so it came back a size smaller. He can't wear it again. We were very disappointed with this. Perhaps Hayman needs to improve on their washing facilities and provide a washing room for their guests.
The variety of restaurants and food was exceptional. We tried all the restaurants and enjoyed each one. The quality of food is fantastic.
Hayman certainly offers a great variety of water activities for the family which we all loved. The theatre was also a huge success with our children. Especially the popcorn! I think ten days would be ideal next trip. You made organizing the holiday a breeze. Thank you once again Sali." Audrey H., Melbourne, Australia (20 Jan 06)

• "
Tina , Thankyou again for a fabulous trip, even going to Melbourne when we should have been in Adelaide was easily sorted by you. The only bad thing was that Edward left his phone in the Tarago and it was not returned to him. Everything else went so smoothly and we are now suffering from post Australia blues. Thankyou again, we have been telling everyone of your efficiency." Kelly D., London, UK (19 Jan 06)

Hi Zoe, We had a fantastic time at
Brampton Island, thank you for suggesting it. So far you have been spot on with Peppers and now Brampton. After returning home from Brampton we left 2 days later for the 10 day cruise to Vanuato and New Caledonia, I just got back today.
We only decided to go as it was a great deal $957.00 for 10 nights all meals included. However, Brampton was far better and we wished we just spent a little more and stayed there longer." Priscille B., Sydney, Australia (18 Jan 06)

Hi Lynnette, The
Pacific Star cruise on 28 Dec was fantastic. We all had a great time and New Years Eve was the best I have ever had ( my birthday was new Years Day) All the meals were of excellent standard and quality with the staff friendly and always helpful.
Floor shows were very good and our favourite was the comedian/ventriloquist. Kid's club facilities were very good with lots of playstations, and activities for the kids. Cabin was fine and you could put the lower beds together if you wanted to make a queen size bed, and still use the upper fold out beds o.k.
Favourite places were
Dravuni Island then Yasawa. The photo is of my wife on Dravuni Island. The boys both enjoyed the trip and slept very well each night. So overall it was a great holiday for the family." Chris B., Toowoomba, Australia (18 Jan 06)

Hi Elisabete, We have now returned from
Club Med Lindeman Island and I can tell you that we had the time of our lives. I cried when we left!!! It was all so close to perfect - have you been there?? Many thanks for organising it for us." Carolina W., Sydney, Australia (18 Jan 06)

Hi Elisabete, Thanks for organizing a terrific holiday for us. Everything went exactly as scheduled ... no problems. Our room at
Club Med Lindeman was ideally located. The resort and its activities exceeded all our expectations.
The food was great. The Club med staff, from the GO's, restaurant and room staff were all a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again and I'll use GlobeNet Travel when we book our next holiday." Greg M., Sydney, Australia (18 Jan 06)

Hi Zoe, The
Daydream Island resort was great, our hi-light was the day we had on the great barrier reef boat trip, swimming with the fishes in the deep blue sea, nothing comes close to topping that.
The resort was as you promised, we enjoyed our therapies in the day spa and many swims in the number of pools provided. Because of the time of year and the numbers on the resort there were a number of double bookings at meal time, but you expect those hiccups. The people on the resort were all very pleasant and helpful," Deborah K., Sydney, Australia (17 Jan 06)

Hello Zoe, We loved
Lady Elliot Island, although they do have a problem with their diving that they say they are addressing. Best wishes and thank you." Dr. Elliott M., California, USA (17 Jan 06)

Dear Zoe: We are now back in Europe. We had a great time in Australia - visited
Sails in the Desert, The Lakes Resort Cairns, Hayman Island and Lillianfels Blue Mountains. Everything went as planned. When we have to give a more specific remark, than it is that the Palm Rooms at Hayman are a little bit shabby for that rate. Kind regards" Markus W., Germany (17 Jan 06)

Hi Zoe, Thank you for recommending
Hamilton Island to my family. We were upgraded at
the Reef View Hotel and were very very happy with the service.
We had a great time, especially our 3 year old daughter who had her first trip to the Great Barrier Reef (although the current was too strong for us to take her snorkelling properly, plus being 6 months pregnant), she had fun on the jet skis and loved swimming the whole time we were there. The island was beautiful and the weather - perfect! I look forward to another great holiday recommended by Globenet Travel!" Jerome, Bernadette and Ally B., Sydney, Australia (17 Jan 06)

Dear Lynette, Thankyou for your assistance in booking our holiday. We had a fantastic time at
the Hyatt Regency & Sanctuary Cove was amazing. They catered really well for kids, we utilized the
Camp Hyatt, the kids had a ball. We are seriously considering going back for a couple of weeks next year." Sue R. & family, New Zealand (16 Jan 06)
• "
Lynette, Lindeman Island was great, I can highly recommend Club Med. The only hitch was they did not give us the late check out as promised. Will think of you next holidays." Jacqueline M., Balgowlah, Australia (16 Jan 06)

Hey Sali, Hamilton Island was great! Heaps and heaps of fun! Everything went extremely smoothly no dramas at all, apart from the fact that everything you bought over there was pretty much double the price of what you would pay on the mainland! Just wanted to thank-you for organising everything and making it all so hassle free... " John P., Brisbane, Australia (16 Jan 06)

Dear Gayle, We arrived back in England following our Daughter’s wedding, further celebrations in Sydney, the fabulous Cruise, 2 days in the Lamington Park Rain Forest, more time in Sydney for NY eve etc. One glorious month away... Very many thanks for looking after us with this very excellent and well worthwhile cruise.
We are so glad you suggested the switch from the Brisbane alternative (Pacific Star) which from further discussions with guests and high ranking staff on board, we would not have been as happy and I believe that cruise didn’t even sail as the renovations were not ready in time. The
Pacific Princess had about 600 guests on board. This way we were able to meet people that we had become aquainted as we wondered around the ship.
This intimacy suited us well. The staff are all curteous and try very hard to please. The meals were excellent and on the second day we managed to get moved from a table in the centre of the restaurant with just one other couple to a table by the window with a family which gave us more conversational opportunities as well as a sea view.
Entertainment and sporting activities (table tennis tornaments and water volleyball suited me (Loretta)). Other than
Noumea which was a little disappointing, the stops at
Port Vila, Mystery Is., and Wala were all good with Wala being the highlight meeting the natives and seeing how they used to live and their current homes.
All in all, we would welcome a similar but different trip again in the future and will be very happy if you are able to look after us again. We will be off to Melbourne in March to see our younger daughter compete in the Commonwealth Games (3,000m steeplechase) for Great Britain... then we could again look into what cruises are on offer.. Hi Sali, Just letting you know we had an absolutely wonderful holiday in Oz. your part of the trip (flights, heli,
Heron Island) went very well. we had a fantastic stay in Heron Island.
Please find attached two foto's one arial picture of the Island (taken from the Heli) and one of our little daughter Chloe who was doing the ranger passport! just one little word advice for anyone going to Heron..... take the earplugs (the noddies and most of all the muttonbirds WILL keep you awake at night!)" Hi Tina, Our trip to
Daydream Island was ok probably shouldn't have stayed as long as we did with twin three year olds.
We had a problem getting the right food for the boys as they usually eat alot of salad, fruit, cold meats and vegies etc. As you know there are no supermarkets or other facilities for buying food and restaurants have set meal times, and they only offered children a choice of four meals at all the restaurants and all were fried food. So after seven days of ham sandwiches for lunch and fish and chips for tea, they were ready for something else.
Breakfast was good, providing lots of variety and after a few days we found ourselves following the lead of other families with children - taking extra food for snacks during the day.
The pools were fantastic and the outdoor cinema was great but overall we found the island extremely expensive and it didn't really cater for families with toddlers.
The other part which may relate to you was that we were surprised by the delay between arriving by plane and the ferry departure then the arrival of the ferry and when our rooms were ready. When travelling with young children it is extremely difficult to fill in 3 HOURS of waiting after a 3 hour flight when it is unexpected. Both times are luggage was not with us so we couldn't change into more appropriate clothing. It would be nice if we could have been aware of the delays so we could have been prepared.
Definitely a learning experience when travelling with children but I think we will have to confine ourselves to the mainland for future holidays with access to more facilities. Thank you for all your assistance. " Jacqui S., Melbourne, Australia (16 Jan 06)

Hi Gayle, It has been a wonderful holiday. All was perfect.
Couran Cove Resort's people were extremely kind with us.
Lizard Island was perfect. The only issue was just at the beginning. We did not find anyone to pick us up at Cairns airport and we had to catch a taxi to reach the charter flight. Same thing on the way back, but this time the plane's pilot decided to drive us with his own car. Lizard is the perfect holiday place. Again, with your professionalism we have had a very nice holiday. " Alfredo V., Italy (13 Jan 06)

Hello Sali, We arrived safe back home in good old, but very cold Germany from our 2 weeks trip to Australia. Your support to find an accommodation at
Brampton Island on short term during the heavy booked holiday season was great and I will certainly use your service for possible future trips to Australia. Thank you very much again! Some comments regarding Brampton Island:
In general it was ok, but it was definitely not the big hit and I would not visit this island a second time. Compared to my former trips to Heron, Hayman and Lady Elliot I rank Brampton last place, although I know that this comparison is perhaps not fair with regard to price level (Heron, Hayman) and the total different situation at Lady Elliot (basic accomodation, great nature and reef snorkeling).
Positive aspects Brampton:
Transport (light aircraft) well organized
Accomodation, we had a upgrade to a seaview room without extra charge Nice salt water pool
Negative aspects Brampton:
Restaurant: Quality of provided food ok, but they seem to have a problem with organisation/management and service. Dinner menue has to be booked in advance for a fixed time which is not due to limited seats/table capacity but to limited capacity in the kitchen or limited capacity of service staff. Breakfast and lunch buffet run out of food items very often, replacement only after request and long waiting time. They need a good Restaurant Service Manager and more motivated service staff!
Poor snorkeling around the island, snorkeling boat trips to the Barrier Reef only once a week, which was unfortunately not during our stay. Beach in front of the resort not bad, but not as nice and marvelous as claimed in their advertisement No "Whitsunday Island flaire"
Sali, I do not blame you and GlobeNetTravel and, as I said before, I appreciate your great support. My personal conclusion for the future: Sali and GlobeNet Travel: Yes, Brampton Island: No I hope my feedback is of some use for your future work." Dietmar Z., Friedrichshafen, Germany (12 Jan 06)

Hi Zoe, We would like to thankyou for organising a wonderful holiday for us. The
Dunk Island resort was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The stay at
the Rays Resort Apartments Gold Coast was exhausting but great, crammed in the Theme Parks.
All the flights went to schedule and we arrived home safe and very relaxed. I've attached a photo of my husband John and daughter Chelsea when we arrrived at Dunk Island. Once again I wish to thankyou for all your help you made organising our holiday so easy." Tania T., Melbourne, Australia (13 Jan 06)

Hi Tina, I wish I was still on
Dunk Island. The whole trip went extremely well. We arrived & were upgraded to the
Beachfront Room. Got married (the staff on the Island made it such a special day since we were on our own) & had the bestest time. Thanks for all your help. I will definitely be recommending you & your Company to others." Louisa & Gordon B., Sydney, Australia (11 Jan 06)

Dear Tina, We had a wonderful vacation at
Couran Cove Island Resort on South Stradbroke Island in Queensland, Australia. We loved our 2 bedroom Lodge on the Lagoon and our kids LOVED riding bicycles all over the island. I would highly recommend this vacation for anyone with children as long as they are 12 years old or younger (I think teenagers would be a little bored here).
We took advantage of everything possible and we spent one day at Wet N Wild, one day at DreamWorld, a deep sea fishing day trip arranged by the resort and jet skiing.
We had a great stay in Sydney as well.
The Star City Hotel & Casino was in a great location in Darling Harbour so we could just walk over to the restaurants or the IMAX theater (or Starbucks since we are caffeine addicts). I wasn't very impressed with the buffet breakfast or the rooms, but I was trying to keep in a reasonable budget for a family of 5 people.
Our favorite part of Sydney was the private lunch boat ride since we got to see all of Sydney including the high end real estate and we even went to a quiet cove for a little swim.
Tina, I am so glad I used GlobeNet Travel for this vacation! I was scared to use an online travel agent, but living in Korea as an American, I was getting no help from my Korean travel agent. Working with an Aussie for an Australian vacation was the best idea I made! Thanks for all the last minute tour additions to our trip. Tina, we really had a stress-free, problem-free vacation, thanks to you." Bob & Theresa K. & kids, "Americans living in South Korea as expats" (11 Jan 06)

Hi Eva, I can't begin to describe the sight on
Sydney Harbour on New Year's Eve, it was absolutely brilliant. If we had had to leave the following day we would have been more than satisfied. We had a ringside seat and the spectacle was absolutely breathtaking.
The ship is beautiful and all the staff excellent. It is the best holiday we have ever had. I don't know if you have been on
the Orion Cruise but we can thoroughly recommend it. It was good that there were only 104 passengers because we virtually met everyone on board and it created a good friendly atmosphere. I will send you a photograph in the mail of us enjoying one of the fabulous meals on board. Thanks for all your help." Margaret S., Cairns, Australia (11 Jan 06)

Dear Sali, Everything was fine with the holiday, no problems at all and we had a great time at the
Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas... the hotel itself we found to be a little 'tired'. Also, we were disappointed with the quality of the hotel restaurants, especially on Christmas Day despite booking well in advance; however we found good restaurants in Port Douglas for the rest of our stay. All in all, we had a good time." Bob M., Church Point, Australia (10 Jan 06)

Hi Kylie, We had a great time at the

Zoe, We had a ball!! Everything went very smoothly thankyou and
Brampton Island was a great recommendation. The Island was beautiful, the people were great, there were heaps of activities to chose from and of course too much food and booze was had by all. Thankyou so much and I will be sure to use your services again." Terri K., Sydney, Australia (9 Jan 06)
