The Resort
The newly refurbished Rendezvous Reef Resort in Port Douglas offers four star facilities in a relaxed tropical setting. Set in beautifully landscaped gardens against a backdrop of rainforest and mountains and designed around no less than five pools, Rendezvous Reef Resort caters for both couples wanting a romantic getaway or a family wanting a fun filled holiday.

Rendezvous Reef Resort offers a wide choice of accommodation styles. All of the spacious standard rooms have a balcony with pool, garden, lagoon or mountain views.
Suitesalso feature separate lounge/dining area with two bathrooms. The Rainforest suite has a master bedroom with a King Size bed, TV and ensuite bathroom with a shower only. The living room has a TV, stereo, CD. The dining room accommodates up to six people with a fully equipped kitchen and microwave.
Deluxe Villasare fully self-contained 1, 2, & 3 bedroom, ideal for those wishing to self-cater, with split levels and a downstairs dining & lounge area. Rendezvous Reef Resort has 2 restaurants and 2 bars. Mundies Restaurant offers a choice of continental or full buffet breakfast including chef's made-to-order omelettes and pancakes. The a la carte dinner caters for all tastes in a relaxed setting. The Curry House Restaurant boasts a beautiful lagoon pool setting amid the lush tropical gardens. The Curry House provides great curries in a hurry from mild to wild. Take away and kids menus' available.
The Shark Bar has live entertainment or sporting action on the big screen nightly, serving a range of pizzas and light meals. The Thirsty Fish Bar provides a lunch menu. Soak up the sunshine poolside or relax in the shade, whilst indulging on one of your favourite drinks, even cocktails at the swim up bar! Rendezvous Reef Resort has three conference rooms and one boardroom. Breakout and external areas for conferencing also available. Themed options are endless. A Grand Ballroom caters for up to 300 delegates and is divisible into three conference rooms, providing the perfect venue for a Gala dinner or Cocktail party. The Boardroom is ideal for smaller groups with a break out and foyer area, and outdoor events can utilize over 8 acres of lush gardens and 5 lagoon pools as ideal tropical settings. Getting There
Regular flights are available from all major Australian capital cities to Cairns. the resort is located 70kms north of Cairns Airports, approximately one hour by taxi or shuttle coach. The range of transfer options includes limousine or minibus along a scenic coastal highway, helicopter or luxury powered catamaran transfers.
Golf
Port Douglas is a golfer's paradise with several championship courses located within minutes of the resort.
Children
The resort provides baby sitting and child minding services. A free Kids Club operates daily for 5-12 year olds, and provides Kids meals, free cots, five lagoon pools with shallow areas for children, Kids Fox channel and the Ballyhooley Train. There is no charge for children 12 years and under sharing a room with adults and using existing bedding.

"...We had a wonderful 10 day family holiday at Rendezvous Reef Resort and had 4 two bedroom villas. We found the accomodation very clean and comfortable and the children loved the pools and surroundings and the kid's club. The shuttle bus into town was excellent, leaving the resort every 15 minutes up until mid night.
The restaurants of the hotel and the curry house were of good quality at good prices. The only criticism that I could offer is that there were no screen doors or screens on any of the windows which restricted fresh air. We did not want to leave and will be back...." Janice H., Adelaide, Australia.
