The Resort
Kingfisher Bay Resort is situated on the protected west coast of this World Heritage listed and world's largest sand island, where lush rainforests meet the sparkling waters of the Great Sandy Strait.

Kingfisher Bay Resort has 262 rooms and is suitable for families, couples and singles. Guests have a choice of spacious well appointed & recently refurbished Hotel Rooms located at the main resort complex or self-contained high-set Villas overlooking the resort and Hervey Bay.

Getting There
Regular flights daily serve Hervey Bay Airport from Brisbane with connections from other Australian cities. Courtesy coaches pick up from the airport and Pialba Transit Centre (Rail/coach depot), and the resort's catamaran operates daily 40 minute transfers from Urangan Boat Harbour to Kingfisher Bay Resort. Guests with 4WD, follow signs from Maryborough to Hervey Bay Road for River Heads barge ramp.
Spa
Kingfisher Bay Resort does not have a day spa but does provide a natural therapy and beauty clinic.
Children
Families are welcome. Junior Eco-Ranger groups operate on weekends and Australian school holidays with art, walks, story telling, orienteering, rope courses and canoeing, spotlighting for animals, stargazing and campfires. Babysitting is available both day and night, with a child care centre/kids club for children under 5 years.
