The Retreat
Situated on a 10,000 acre working cattle station in Queensland's Lockyer Valley, just 60 minutes drive south west of Brisbane, Peppers Hidden Vale Retreat is surrounded by picturesque mountains, valleys and lakes.
The property was first settled in the early 1800s - the original Homestead built in the 1920's is testimony to Australia's colonial past but has recently been revived with the indulgent touch of Peppers. While maintaining the heritage and elegance of a bygone era, Peppers Hidden Vale Retreat gives you the opportunity to gain an insight into the workings of a modern cattle property, but with all the comforts that you would expect of a Peppers Retreat.

Guest accommodation is located in a cluster of attractive Queensland cottages. The individual cottages all have a distinct character ranging from a quaint Chinese cottage built in the late 1800's to a six bedroom cottage which was formally the Station Manager's home. All rooms and suites offer panoramic views of the surrounding picturesque mountains, valleys and lakes from large verandahs. Bush cabins are available for overnight stays for up to 16 guests with campfire dinner.

Cotton's Restaurant is named after one of the early pioneer families who once owned the property. The finest modern cuisine is served amidst the grace and charm of the original homestead.
