The Resort
The whole of Hamilton Island is a world-class resort and includes a village of boutique shops, eight swimming pools and nine restaurants. At any one time the Island hosts 2,000 people and approximately 200 boats in its world-class marina. The Island includes a fifty acre fauna park featuring kangaroos and koalas. There are at least 150 species of birds, and eucalypt bush walks to mountain peaks with 360 degree Island views.

Hamilton Island has fringing coral reef with the best snorkelling and diving at Catseye Beach. You can also visit the Outer Reef by high-speed catamaran or helicopter. Hardy Reef is a particular spot for diving or reef viewing. Hamilton is a boating paradise. Make sure you visit Whitehaven Beach or enjoy a fantastic variety of sporting and leisure activities on the Island.

Dining
Hamilton Island Resort provides unique culinary indulgences, the resort boasting 20 restaurants, bars and other eateries. There are seven bars and cafes ranging from traditional Italian to casual alfresco, and a myriad of exciting eateries including ten cosmopolitan restaurants.

You can also try 'Breakfast with the Koalas.' You'll be served a delicious buffet breakfast in the surrounds of the koala habitat at the Koala Gallery Wildlife Experience. The sanctuary also has a large number of other native animals, a memorable experience that's great for adults as well as kids!

The Beach House: Hamilton Island's signature restaurant overlooks the tranquil waters of Catseye Beach. The cuisine encompasses contemporary Australian flavours and the restaurant has an impressive wine list.

Toucan Tango Cafe and Bar: Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it is the colourful hub of Hamilton Island. This vibrant and spacious restaurant overlooks the beach and takes advantage of the cooling ocean breezes.

Cascades Restaurant: Located in the foyer of the Reef View Hotel, it is open for breakfast only and offers a fantastic buffet in a tropical garden atmosphere.

Outrigger Restaurant: It has a reputation for fine seafood and great service, the Outrigger Restaurant produces quality dishes with definitive modern Australian food styles.

Mantaray Cafe: Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, this restaurant has one of the best positions on Hamilton Island - overlooking the harbour. It also makes some of the best wood-fired pizzas you'll ever find.

Mariners Restaurant: Specialising in fresh seafood nightly and famous for its seafood platters, this restaurant is conveniently located in the Marina Village and is a must for seafood lovers.

Accommodation - Hamilton Island Resort
The island offers guests a variety of hotels and apartments to suit all tastes and budgets as well as an endless array of activities. The accommodation is wide ranging, sophisticated yet casual, resort centred or secluded.

The main resort complex is located on the northern side of the island with The Beach Club enjoying a beachfront location. Reef View Hotel and Whitsunday Apartments are set back a few metres from the beach. The Palm Bungalows are set further back in tropical gardens and the Palm Terraces overlook the resort complex and beach. Villas are located up to 1 km away and all are connected by sealed road.

The Marina, more restaurants, bars, nightclub and main shopping complex are situated approx 500 metres away on the Southern side. Transport on the island's sealed roads is by golf style buggies or a regular $2 resort shuttle.

Palm Bungalows

Clownfish Club
The Clownfish Club is Hamilton Island’s childcare centre catering for children aged 6 weeks to 14 years of age. Children under 5 years must have a 3 hour session visit prior to parents leaving the island on a full or ½ day tour.

Meals are not supplied for small babies – bottles and baby food must be supplied if required.
