The Resort
The whole of Hamilton Island is a world-class resort and includes a village of boutique shops, eight swimming pools and nine restaurants. At any one time the Island hosts 2,000 people and approximately 200 boats in its world-class marina. The Island includes a fifty acre fauna park featuring kangaroos and koalas. There are at least 150 species of birds, and eucalypt bush walks to mountain peaks with 360 degree Island views.
Hamilton Island has fringing coral reef with the best snorkelling and diving at Catseye Beach. You can also visit the Outer Reef by high-speed catamaran or helicopter. Hardy Reef is a particular spot for diving or reef viewing. Hamilton is a boating paradise. Make sure you visit Whitehaven Beach or enjoy a fantastic variety of sporting and leisure activities on the Island.

The Beach House: Hamilton Island's signature restaurant overlooks the tranquil waters of Catseye Beach. The cuisine encompasses contemporary Australian flavours and the restaurant has an impressive wine list.
Toucan Tango Cafe and Bar: Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it is the colourful hub of Hamilton Island. This vibrant and spacious restaurant overlooks the beach and takes advantage of the cooling ocean breezes.
Cascades Restaurant: Located in the foyer of the Reef View Hotel, it is open for breakfast only and offers a fantastic buffet in a tropical garden atmosphere.
Outrigger Restaurant: It has a reputation for fine seafood and great service, the Outrigger Restaurant produces quality dishes with definitive modern Australian food styles.

Getting There
Hamilton Island is located in the heart of the Whitsunday Islands, about 900 km north of Brisbane. The island is a haven for Australians and a host of overseas visitors, and is the only Queensland Island with a modern jet airport.
Daily services operate from mainland Australian cities to airports at both Hamilton Island and Proserpine on the mainland. From Proserpine, a 30 mins coach or limousine trip connects at Shute Harbour with twice daily launch transfers to the island taking 60 mins. Scenic seaplane or heli transfers directly from the airports to the resort can also be arranged.
Relaxation Centre
The Hamilton Island Relaxation Centre offers a comprehensive range of treatments from professional massage therapists. This unique environment offers six individual treatment rooms and one dual treatment room.
Golf
Hamilton Island Resort has a putting green and a golf driving range. Guests can travel to the mainland for a round of golf at Laguna Whitsundays' 18 hole championship course with seaplane or heli transfers.
Children

"...Hamilton Island was lovely... blue waters, great weather. The villa was everything we expected and the buggy to drive around the island was a huge hit with our little girl. The biggest decision each day was "the pool or the beach". Snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef was amazing and while a bit expensive, well worth the money.
