The Resort

The Retreat, a wellness concept salon, has highly trained skin care technicians, massage therapists, hairdressers, fitness instructors and wellness consultants. This unique environment offers six individual treatment rooms, one dual treatment room, a spa and steam room, hydrotherapy bath, plunge pool and beauty and hair services.

Children
Babysitting services are available at Hayman Island Resort. Children are catered for with children's menus offered in restaurants. Also a Kidz Club and a Creche operate daily and in the evenings during Australian school holidays. the resort provides a playground, Hernando's Hideaway activities centre with games & recreation room and a Child Activity Program.

Honeymoons & Weddings
Honeymoon packages are available on request. Hayman's Stella Maris wedding chapel is situated above the resort overlooking the Whitsunday Passage and the resort provides a full range of related services.

Events/Conferences
Conferences are welcome at the resort on a sole basis only. The resort is able to accommodate meetings in the open-air quiet lounge area, located just 10 metres from the beach and with views to the ocean. The lounge area dimensions of 8x12 metres will comfortably fit all guests in either theatre style or classroom style and 18 people in U-shape format.

Hayman Island for Families

Hayman operates a Kids Club for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. It is open daily from 9.00am to 12.00noon & 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Due to limited availability, bookings for the Hayman Kids Club must be made at the time of reservation.

During School Holidays, Hayman also offers a Rangers Program for 5-12 year olds. The people who work at Hayman's Kids Club are experts at helping children have more fun. They actually teach children how to enjoy themselves at Hayman.

How hard can that be when they get to go on speedboat rides and scavenger hunts, play mini tennis, learn to snorkel and scuba dive, learn photography, sail on Reef Dancer, go fish feeding, build a pirate ship, hold hermit races, play beach games, make and fly kites, do messy art, go on a night time spotlight nature walk, learn to kayak, or take part in our Junior Hayman Chef cooking event!

Hayman offers Child Minding services by arrangement. Give your children a break and let them stay in and watch a video while you enjoy an evening out on the island. A minimum 3-hour booking is required. Special rates are applicable during the Christmas and New Year period.
