Getting There
Daily services operate from major Australian cities to airports at both Hamilton Island and Proserpine on the mainland. The luxury MV Sun Eagle transfer from Hamilton Island to Hayman Island takes 60 mins. From Proserpine, a 30 mins coach or limousine trip connects at Shute Harbour with twice daily launch transfers to the island taking 60 mins. Scenic seaplane or heli transfers directly from the airports to the resort can also be arranged.
Spa
The Retreat, a wellness concept salon, has highly trained skin care technicians, massage therapists, hairdressers, fitness instructors and wellness consultants. This unique environment offers six individual treatment rooms, one dual treatment room, a spa and steam room, hydrotherapy bath, plunge pool and beauty and hair services.
Golf
Hayman Island Resort resort has a 9 hole putting green and a golf driving range. Guests can travel to the mainland for a round of golf at Laguna Whitsundays' 18 hole championship course with seaplane or heli transfers.
Children
Babysitting services are available at Hayman Island Resort. Children are catered for with children's menus offered in restaurants. Also a Kidz Club and a Creche operate daily and in the evenings during Australian school holidays. the resort provides a playground, Hernando's Hideaway activities centre with games & recreation room and a Child Activity Program.

"...we LOVED Hayman Island. What a great place! A gorgeous resort and gorgeous island. We loved all the birds -- a zillion cockatoos, plus ducks, swans, gallahs, tons of others. There were also a bunch of fruit bats that came out at sunset every night which was actually really cool.
The reef trip was fantastic! The reef itself is unbelievable, so well preserved despite what the environmentalists say, an amazing variety of creatures and corals. We were treated beautifully by everyone, we had a fantastic room (I think it was 201 Lagoon Wing), and we just loved every minute we were there. We even had two days of serious rain, and we still loved it. The spa was fabulous, excellent masseuses..."Lamar & Louann, Alaska
