Peppers Palm Bay Resort has 21 rooms and is suitable for families, couples and singles. Guest accommodation is housed in freestanding, elegantly appointed bungalows, bures and cabins, all in an absolute beachfront location offering uninterrupted views across the majestic Whitsundays. Both types contain limited cooking facilities. Rooms were re-furbished in early 2004.
Dining
The ever-changing menu offers contemporary Australian dishes and features the freshest ingredients and some of the best cuisine you'll find in the Whitsundays.
A continental style breakfast basket is provided to start the day at your leisure, followed by an impressive la carte lunch menu or gourmet picnic hamper. Peppers Palm Bay Resort is able to cater for small groups and be booked on a sole basis for 42 guests in 21 rooms. Getting There
Daily services operate from mainland Australian cities to airports at both Hamilton Island and Proserpine on the mainland. The launch transfer from Hamilton Island to Peppers Palm Bay Resort takes 30 mins. From Proserpine, a 30 mins coach or limousine trip connects with regular Shute Harbour launch transfers to the island taking 15 mins. Scenic seaplane or heli transfers directly from the airports to the resort can also be arranged.
Spa
The resort's new Day Spa is the ultimate for those wanting to pamper themselves. Hours of indulgence programs and the latest in naturopathy will help you achieve your total rejuvenation and well being. Positioned on the beach with panoramic views of the Whitsundays, you will relax and indulge in their massage and beauty treatment rooms - advance booking is essential.
Golf
Guests can travel to the mainland for a round of golf at Laguna Whitsundays' 18 hole championship course.
Children
Families are welcome but the resort does not have a Kid's Club. the resort provides baby sitting & child minding services. There is no charge for children 12 years and under sharing a room with adults and using existing bedding.
Honeymoons

"...we had the time of our lives, it is truly a delightful place, and we had the best Bures on the beach with the wallabys visiting us every evening! Very entertaining. We took the helicopter trip to Langford Reef for a twilight picnic, then the cruise/fly trip to the reef and dived. Home to Peppers via the Heart Reef - MAGICAL!
All the transfers worked like clockwork, the staff at PPB could not have been more attentive. Our only sadness is that they are expanding the resort, this will take away the intimacy of the place, a real shame, but that is business. Our only critical observation of PPB was the food did not come up to expectations, though perfectly acceptable it lacked the finesse that the resort portrayed of it's cuisine.
