Hi Sally, South Molle was OK, the island was beautiful, the golf course was great
(and
free) and the sailing and windsurfing was good.
We had some problems with our room though...
We asked for another room and the second room was better.
We were disappointed there was no diving possible.
the food was however good!

South Molle Island was a real surprise for us. The room was perhaps a bit ordinary but that grew on us. The staff were friendly and generally excellent in the way they attended to you. The facilities of golf and sailing were utilised very much by us and the walks in the natural landscape were relaxing.
The value for money aspect was exceptional. I am of the opinion that it was the best short holiday I've had for ages and ages. I am definitely going back there again next year at around the same time." Peter C., Melbourne, Australia (21 Jun 05)

Hello Zoe, We were very lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade of accomodation on
South Molle Island, and stayed in a Whitsunday unit overlooking the ocean for the price of a golf unit. The golf units appeared to be rather on the tired side but the Whitsunday unit was great.
I can recommend South Molle for snorkelling off the shore and the range of activities on offer. I'd like to thank Zoe for recommending the full board option as it was certainly the way to go. Kylie the family had a great time visited the reef, snorkelling etc lotsa sailing at
South Molle Island Resort. Vicki enjoyed the no cooking washing up...
Weather was almost perfect the tides could have been kinder what with new moon & king tides we missed a bit of water sport - the king lows were around early pm and sailing stopped - still there was golf tennis and walking to make up for will send some photos in a few days cheers," G.R., Sydney, Australia (12 Oct 02)
