• "Hi Lynette, Everything went smoothly thanks to your efforts. Tropical North Queensland has won us as fans. Palm Cove is just beautiful and there are some great restaurants I wanted to buy an apartment after 2 days.
The Angsana Resort & Spa was all I expected. The one bedroom apartment was extremely spacious & well appointed. It had two bathrooms, enormous living area, full kitchen & laundry with Miele appliances etc. You should have no hesitation recommending it to clients. The spa was wonderful. All the therapists being trained at the Banyan Tree.
Daintree Eco Lodge was also a great experience. The rainforest is exquisite. Let's hope it stays that way. They upgraded us to a Spa Villa & a complimentary ½ hr massage. The villa's décor is a bit tired, which was especially noticeable after coming directly from the Angsana, but the resort's luxury location is worth the star rating.
The restaurant at the lodge is first class and all staff were delightful. The spa there is also recommended, different products & approach, but equally relaxing and enjoyable. We are hoping to get back there next year... and have no hesitation in using your services for any travel bookings, even though you are on the other side of the country. • "Kylie. We had a fabulous time! The Daintree Eco Lodge was nice - the spa was beautiful. We loved Orpheus Island - the 7 course dinners were out of this world. The staff was so friendly and very accommodating. My one suggestion is that it is really not the place for scuba diving - we had a difficult time getting out to the outer reef and with the small number of guests, it was difficult for the resort to plan frequent trips. • "Hi Sonia, 350 sleeps until we're back on Lizard Island. Overall we had a fantastic trip. Lizard is an exceptional experience. The quality of the accomodtion, staff, quiet and calm, and food is outstanding. Being on the Great Barrier Reef obviously makes it that much more of a great location since Sue loves the water and snorkeling. we expect to go back there next September.
The rainforest and Daintree Eco Lodge were also a great time. The Eco-Lodge isn't for everyone. It is run on a much smaller scale, and while it is a quality experience it is not for those seeking real "luxury" or an upscale experience. I'd called it "funky" upscale. It is a very authentic rain forest experience, I believe more so than Silky Oaks (which we visited for dinner). Silky Oaks felt more like a resort, while Lizard felt like a hideaway or special place.
The spa at Daintree Eco Lodge is excellent. In fact that is my one criticism of Lizard Island....apparently keeping staff on island resorts (in certain functions, and not only at Lizard) is a challenge and as a result they often get more junior staff. I felt this to be true of the Lizard Island spa staff, and the quality of massage was not comparable to the overall standards of Lizard, or other resorts I've been to. I shared this on my feedback form there...

• "Hi Zoe... I would like to thank you for the splendid job you did on our travel arrangements to Hamilton Island and Port Douglas. Everything went like clockwork and we had a marvellous time.
We really enjoyed the cruise to the Barrier Reef and the tour of the rainforest and the Daintree Eco Lodge. Port Douglas was a lovely place to spend a few days and we only wished that we could have had longer. It was a pleasure dealing with you and everything was so painless and efficient.
