Our History GlobeNet Travel commenced operations in 1994 as a Brisbane-based American Express agency, expanding to become one of the largest independent travel agencies in Australia today.. With a philosophy that one has to experience it to sell it, our consultants quickly became authorities on resorts locally and expanding world-wide, while winning top awards along the way. In 2005 we became the inaugural Hall of Fame agency for Tourism Queensland's Sunlover Holidays and since then have also been Club Med Australasia's top agency, every year! Increasingly now and on invitation, we attend international trade shows and cruise advisory boards, promoting the best interests of our clients and local travel industry partners. When we launched Clean Cruising in 2007 as our specialist cruise division, our goal was simple - to help Australians "Find Their Dream Cruise Faster", BUT always at the best available daily price! How we do this always evolves but we focus on three ways to achieve it by... • Showcasing the world's cruise ships (AND where they go) as never seen before • Creating the fastest website with innovative ways to research your cruise • Providing Australia's largest & highest qualified team of cruise specialists! We were recognised again in 2012 by the International Cruise Council of Australia as their "Cruise Agency of the Year" finalist which is a huge honour alongside other terrific Australian agencies. This award is judged by leading cruiselines on efforts to promote cruising, consultant training & growth in customer bookings. Luxury Travel Magazine readers also voted us this year as the top cruise agency into their "Gold List" for Australia's luxury travel agancies. All of which we're extremely proud of, but the feedback from our happy customers is what puts a spring in our step each day! We are independent and privately owned, with headquarters in Brisbane's CBD Waterfront area and staff also located in Sydney.
