This is a spectacular renovated Spa Resort providing mainly for couples and where families are welcome. It is in an exceptional location also known as Kanifinolhu set in the archipelago of the Maldives in the Indian Ocean, south west of Sri Lanka just 20 km N-east of the capital of Malé in the Kaafu Atoll. Formed by a string of around 1190 superb islands and islets, all coral-based, only 200 of which are inhabited, the Republic of the Maldives is approximately 500 km South-west of the Southern tip of India.

Club Med Kani overlooks a turquoise lagoon on this white sand coral island of 15 acres. It is heaven for beach lovers, ideal for watersports and and a perfect spot for those who love scuba diving. Here you will enjoy the magnificent underwater world and the stunning white of a unique and charming resort just above the waterline, bordered by a white, sandy beach.. an unforgettable destination for romantic moments and ideal for diving fanatics.

Club Med Kani recently opened its new 5 Trident Luxury Space, available to Suite clients. The 75 Suites are built on stilts with terrace, a 4 poster bed and a private outlook of the lagoon from your bath. EThe 5 Trident Luxury Space is private area within the 4 Trident resort. Services included are concierge service, WIFI access, priority booking at the Day Spa and Specialty Restaurant, in addition to the open bar and snack, and free-flowing champagne.

The Club Med Kani resort has 209 rooms and is suitable for families, couples and singles with a wide range of room styles including overwater bungalows and connecting rooms. All rooms are air-conditioned and open onto a private balcony or terrace overlooking the sea or lush tropical gardens. Many have connecting rooms for families with children.

Dining

Your meals package includes a choice of buffet or a la carte specialty dining with a selection of beers, champagnes, wines & soft drinks. Le Vehli is a large communal restaurant open daily for buffet breakfast with international and traditional Asian cuisine buffet dinners nightly. Set right on the lagoon is Le Kandu - the resort's specialty restaurant serving lunch and an a la carte fine dining dinner which can be pre-booked as part of your package. Please note general room service is not available.

Your bar snacking & beverage package includes a selection of beers, champagnes, wines, basic spirits, cocktails and soft drinks. There are two bars in the resort. L'Iru Bar by the main swimming pool overlooks the bungalows on stilts - the perfect venue to enjoy pre dinner drinks and snacks. Alternatively, watch the sunset over cocktails at L'Alouda Bar adjacent to the Kandu restaurant right on the edge of the lagoon!

Getting There - view Map
The resort at Club Med Kani is set in the archipelago of the Maldives in the Indian Ocean, south west of Sri Lanka, on the island of Farukolhufushi, 20 km from the capital of Malé. Fly Singapore Airlines via Singapore or Malaysia Airlines via Kuala Lumpur. Transfer takes only 30 minutes by launch from Malé to the island.
