The Resort
The exclusive world class luxury Qualia Resort is now open on the secluded northernmost point of Hamilton Island on the Great Barrier Reef! The name Qualia means "a collection of sensory experiences", and it offers exactly that to its guests.

The emphasis is on privacy and indulgence with the resort inaccessible to other island guests. Qualia features a luxurious Beach House and 59 elegant and individual one bedroom Pavilions, some with private plunge pools and all with a private balcony offering magnificent views over Whitsunday passage.
The “Leeward” Pavilions (without pool) are elegant and timeless and will delight guests with their sense of space and meticulous design features.
The “Windward” Pavilions include their own plunge-pools, offer understated elegance and quality and are over four times the size of an average hotel room.
The Beach House is the ultimate experience in luxury prestigious private accommodation at Qualia. With its uninterrupted sweeping views over the Coral Sea, the beach house offers a spacious boutique bedroom, extensive entertaining area, and private full-size swimming pool in the main pavilion. The beach house also has a separate guest pavilion for those traveling with friends and wanting to share this island experience.
Activities
Surrounded by the beautiful Great Barrier Reef, Qualia puts a large number of pursuits at your doorstep. You may wish to enjoy all manner of water sports, diving, snorkelling fishing and reef tours. Alternatively, you may wish to spend time on a yacht visiting the stunning Whitehaven beach or take a scenic helicopter flight for a different view of the region. Dining
All meals and non-alcoholic beverages are included in the tariff atthe resort and selected restaurants on Hamilton Island outside of Qualia. The two restaurants at the resort are open only to Qualia guests - the elegant Long Pavilion restaurant and Pebble Beach - a more casual space, will provide exceptional food and wine
experiences. Special intimate dining options on the beach or in the Library or private dining rooms also will be offered.
For guests wanting more variety, they may chose to dine at any of Hamilton Island's other restaurants including the exclusive Beach Club.

Getting There
Hamilton Island is located in the heart of the Whitsunday Islands, about 900 km north of Brisbane. The island is a haven for Australians and a host of overseas visitors, and is the only Queensland Island with a modern jet airport. It is also the base for Australia's largest heli operation, Whitsunday Helicopters.
Daily services by Virgin Blue and Jetstar operate from mainland Australian cities to airports at both Hamilton Island and Proserpine on the mainland. Qualia guests receive VIP transfers at Hamilton Island Airport.
From Proserpine, a 30 mins coach or limousine trip connects at Shute Harbour with twice daily launch transfers to the island taking 60 mins. Scenic seaplane or heli transfers directly from the airports to the resort can also be arranged.
Relaxation Centre
Spa Qualia, a beautiful six room spa with four single treatment rooms and two couples rooms complete with Roman baths is located on the pinnacle of the point giving it sweeping views. The Hamilton Island Relaxation Centre also offers a comprehensive range of treatments from professional massage therapists. This unique environment offers six individual treatment rooms and a dual treatment room.
There is also be a state of the art gymnasium and yoga centre right on the water’s edge and two infinity pools, so whether it’s a full on workout or just total relaxation you want - Qualia Resort is the heavenly place you will find it at.
Golf
Hamilton Island Resort has a putting green and a golf driving range. Guests can travel to the mainland for a round of golf at Laguna Whitsundays' 18 hole championship course with seaplane or heli transfers.
Children
While families are especially welcome on Hamilton Island, Qualia is an adult retreat providing for guests 18 years and older.

"...Hamilton Island was lovely... blue waters, great weather. The villa was everything we expected and the buggy to drive around the island was a huge hit with our little girl. The biggest decision each day was "the pool or the beach". Snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef was amazing and while a bit expensive, well worth the money.
